Mission & Purpose

From Figuring It Out to Paying It Forward

As a first-generation student, I had to figure out a lot on my own, especially coming from a place where these opportunities weren’t always visible or talked about. Because of that, I built this platform to make things more clear for other people.

You don’t have to be in one specific major to get involved in space. Whether you’re in geology, chemistry, engineering, business, or anything else, there’s a way in. A lot of it comes down to transferable skills and knowing how to use what you already have. I also want to show real paths into space. Not just the perfect ones, but the actual ones. That means sharing insight from astrogeologists, astrochemists, astronomers, engineers, and people working across the industry so you can see how they got there.

This site shares guidance on things like REUs, internships, cold emailing, networking, and scholarships so you can actually take those steps. In the future, I'd like to turn this platform into a nonprofit to fund an annual Space to Succeed Scholarship. Additionally, I want to build a yearly Space to Succeed trip where a group of scholars, including those not currently in school, can visit labs, museums, universities, and other space-related places. Just being in those environments can change how people view what’s possible.
